Hey Guys!
So I am drawing a few new pictures for my blog header. I plan on in total having three pictures for you guys to choose from. I already have one done and am working on the second. The look pretty cool... to me.
Ok so now on to other stuff...
I was sooooooo busy this weekend. On Friday we took my brother to college and didn't get back from East Texas until about nine thirty Saturday evening. Then at eight Sunday morning, I had to be up at the church so we could practice for our youth led worship service. We did a great job by the way. Then I got home at 1 because we had to take a friend home and get gas. Then I finished my homework and at 4:30 my mom got home from visiting my Paw Paw at the nursing home and so i helped her make appetizers for a reception for the children's minister who is leaving. At 5:30 we went to a members meeting at the church and that lasted until 9:00. Finally we had the reception for our children's minister. Busy weekend.
This is a fare well to our children's minister. Bye Louis! I know we will all miss you, Vivian and Selah. Love you guys very much and am praying for you all.

Awesome???
One word you will never hear me say (unless its about God) is awesome. You may occasionally see Allie and I putting thats awe.... great or something along those lines. I try to use words like great, amazing, fantastic, stuff like that. If you ever hear me say (or write) awesome let me know.
Awesome is SUCH an misused word today! OH! That car is awesome! Or OH! I am awesome! Is it really? Are YOU really? If we use that word to describe God, how can we use it to describe other lesser things? God is truly the ONLY awesome thing EVER!!!
It's hard in school because most people say awesome like seven times in one sentence! Get a new adjective! No names mentioned but I have quite a few teachers that say the a word every other sentence. Im not saying that they are bad for saying that something is awesome but how can it be if God is? God, you know THE GOD, (yeah that guy) he made everything, he does everything and he knows everything. The God that showed us mercy and saved us from his wrath, he is the only one that is awesome. None of us even compare to Him. He is ruler over EVERYTHING!
If you think about it, its kind of using Gods name in vain. Its blaspheme. Saying that something is greater that God....
So all I am saying is that next time you say awesome, think about it and see if it really is awesome... and trust me it gets hard to stop saying it after you are aware of it, even if you never said it.
Rusty made us aware of this a couple of weeks ago. :) 8I8

Have Faith and Believe!!!
So when the life gives you lemons, make lemonade right? I see that when life gives you struggles, make the best of the situation. I was challenged the other day to find one good thing in someone that made me mad. Find one good thing in the deepest struggle. You have no choice in life to go left, right, or straight. You have your ups, downs, lefts, rights and standstills. Its like an ocean really. Some say roller coasters, some say mountains and some say its just rough. My life is fine. Just great! Other people's lives are bad. Falling apart at the seams. When they think that things are going for them, they turn around and another trial is there staring them in eye. I don't fully understand why God gives us hard times but he has a reason for EVERYTHING!!! It may be to show you the road to an unseen place or to reach someone outside your "comfort zone" or even to reach one of your closets friends. If people see that you are still worshiping God even in the midst of struggle, what would they think? Post a comment with your answer. I want to see what YOU think.
I know that we all need to just have faith in the great, awesome God. He will pull through with what He thinks is best. Its not on your time it's His. It reminds me of a song I wrote, it says;
It's not by my clock, I will not sit and watch, I will hold on to what He has planned for me, I know that he will come into my world and do what he needs, it's the best for me.
He has the GREATEST plans for me and I don't even realize it. I will not sit and watch and wait and do nothing. I will wait and work on what he wants me to do. I often think that its harder to work and think in the quiet so I turn my music up loud. Its hard to wait when nothing is going on so you should do something in that time. Make a difference some where some how no matter how big or small. Have faith and believe. Never give up. Never let the "quiet" get the best of you. You are stronger than you know. I can do anything through Christ who strengthens me. Everything you do for the glory of God, (which should be everything) will prosper and give others that hope. In the midst of a struggle lean on God. Psalms 39:7 Now oh Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in You! Thats my favorite verse because it shows that in the middle of a struggle, look upon God. He is hope.
Have faith. Believe and love. Laugh and be disciples of the Lord. I'm ending this with a chant from Super Summer. Love God, love people.

I'm HOW old?
Today we went shopping for my mom's birthday. I'm not telling what I got her because her birthday is tomorrow and she sees my blog. All of my family's birthdays are within three months. July- Austin and Dad's, August- Mom's, and September- Jason's and mine. I can't believe that I'm going to be fourteen this year. That means that next year, I'm going to have my learner's permit to drive. It's kind of a scary thought. So close to being in high school. My brother is going to college this year. We are growing up. There's no Never Never land where I can go and never grow up. I'm looking forward to getting older as in 16 but not growing up. Like I said before, there's no choice, you can't help it.
Being a teenager I see all the girls falling in love with actors and guys overly confident with their looks. I don't worry about looks or "love." I worry about what I NEED to be worried about. School, projects, and grades. Often, I find my self contemplating what it would be like to be an adult. There's no petty issues like boys or grades. There's real issues like work. It is hard to think that in just two years, I can get a job. I can earn money, pay for car insurance, and can drive without an adult in the car. Exciting right? I don't know.
How can I be this OLD? No not old, young. :) I'm not saying old like a woman when she hits her forty and fiftieth birthdays. I'm about to hit some milestones in my life though. Sixteen then eighteen, then twenty one. I'm seeing my life flash before my eyes! :) Just kidding. I know that this post seems to be going nowhere but I have a point.
As I get older, I realize a few things.
1.That nothing is in my control. It is all up to God. He makes the decisions. It's not my life, it is His.
2.There is no such thing as a coincidence. Every thing happens for a reason. You may not get the reason at first, but there is one.
3. Life is too short to live the same day twice.
4. You only get one life so you need to make a difference somewhere no matter how big or small.
5. And finally, Life is not a show. Its reality. I live my life for God. To my audience of one (God) you are the only reason I am here. If my life is a show, then I'm living it wrong.
I am not sure how to end this so this is how I'm ending it. Live, Love, Laugh.

Bruises Made. ( yeah, they hurt)
So I promised y'all a story about Darby titled Darby+slick tile= Somehow under the table. This subject came up many times last night. She said that I could post this so its not me being a horrible friend. :) Plus the second half will be about me so... But any way, here's the story!
Super Summer was truly SUPER! Many memories made, many friends made and many bruises made. That Wednesday, it was raining. We were going to lunch after rec. and it was sprinkling. Of corse if we wanted to eat that day we had to eat the not so super food in the cafeteria. We took our time and ate, talked and laughed. By that time we were ready to leave, it was raining HARD! Darby and I were waiting on Allison to come to lunch and were just talking to people. We filled out some e-grams ( look at my second post to find out what an e-gram is) and talked. Some other friend decided that they would come and socialize with us too. Too bad they didn't know that Darby was going to jump beside them and scare them... if things had gone as planed. Darby, not the most coordinated person, jumps on to wet tile. Her foot slips and she slid. Not like a little baby slide, we are talking about ten feet... seriously. Just about ten feet away was a table set up for people to send e-grams to other campers. Good thing too! Honestly I think if she didn't hit the table, she would have hit the wall. So Darby slides on the floor and goes under the table. The red school dean, Zack, was writing an e-gram and saw the whole thing. So did Allison. She walked in the door as soon as Darby hit the floor. We laugh about that all the time now. Of corse, Zack , the adult in the situation, was concerned, but laughed as soon as Darby stood up. She just stood there laughing sooooo hard while we joined in in her merriment. Bruise number one, made.
So now a story about me. Many of our friends at camp remember this as the big bang in the dorms. Its not as funny as Darby's story but it trails a close second.
So we exit the building. The rain was sooooooooooooooooooo HARD! The wind was bad too. The rain was sideways. ------------ Thats how the rain looked. Naturally, you step into rain you get wet, well in this case soaked. We go back to the dorm, managing to step in one very deep puddle, and changed our clothes. I put on socks even though we were stuck in the dorm for the next hour. Mine and Darby's beds were on the top bunk and there wasn't a latter. Usually we used the desk next to our beds to get on to our bunks but I decided to use a chair that day. Bad choice. I stepped on to the seat part, every thing fine. Darby kept yelling at me to get down. I believe her exact words were, "You're going to fall, get down!!!" I paid no attention to her. My second step was on to the back of the chair. I paid no attention to safety. Almost onto the bed, my foot slips. I had one foot in the air and one foot on the chair. The chair flipped, I fell and Darby screamed. "OH MY GOODNESS!!! Are you okay???" Darby screeched ( Yeah screeched). And I laughed. It wasn't because my leg was pinned under the chair that I couldn't get up, it was because I was laughing too hard. A few minutes later, after I removed the chair from my leg, we went to our friends room across the hall. The first question I asked was, " About 10 minutes ago, did y'all hear a loud bang?" There response, " YEAH!!! What was that?" So I told them the story and they chuckled at my misfortune. I laughed with them and soon others joined in as the story was told around our family group. And bruise two, formed.
So you may not find these stories as funny as I do, but they are memories. Fun, laughter filled memories. One camp, one day, two painful bruises. Great times.

UGHHH! Technolology ( yes i misspelled it on purpose) Is so frustrating!
So i had a slideshow showing some of my pictures and the it decided that it wanted to STOP WORKING! Allie wanted to see some of my pictures and so I decided to post some. I guess my blog didn't want that to happen. I erased all of what i had done because i accidently pushed a wrong button! One more try... Just for you Allie!
I actually drew this for some one. I think it turned out pretty great... well the person i drew it for thought so! Thanks
Kat (thats the person I drew it for)
theses directions to make the picture good, then decided to just get a picture of the pie she made. Needless to
say, she was annoyed. LOL! Sorry Allison!
<-This is everyone in my group at church camp shoes. At first, I just tried to get people with cool shoes on in
the "circle" but when i did, it was more like a simi-circle. And I don't know why there is a big space between this pic and the text.
That day we were making a science project. It was a cake model of an eye. We were all trying to keep strait faces as we laughed and watched Darby attempt to lick my face.
Ta-Da! This one was taken by me! LOL! This was by far the messiest science project i have ever done!
So those are some of my favs! I know they aren't that great but they are fun!
Hope you enjoyed them as much as i do/did/am!

Why i like this one? I don't know! i took this in my mirror.I love my puppy! I had just figured out how to use the auto timer on the camera!
I don't like the picture as much as what was happening while the picture was being taken. I was giving Allison all theses directions to make the picture good, then decided to just get a picture of the pie she made. Needless to
say, she was annoyed. LOL! Sorry Allison!
We tried to take this one like 5 times! we finally decided to give up and go with this one. too bad i didnt know that hair was in my face. :( OH yeah! My friend Will took this because i told him to... he didn't want to!
RAKE!!! I don't know why I like this one so much either!Alright! this one is of Allison's, Mine and Kira's hand.

Allison wanted me to take this one to show Rusty that she was actually reading the book. How's that coming Allison? Lol
My mom actually took this one, but i like it so much. Our hands have icing on them and they say I <3 UThat day we were making a science project. It was a cake model of an eye. We were all trying to keep strait faces as we laughed and watched Darby attempt to lick my face.

Summer vs. School. The memory slap down.
Summer. Most boring time of the year. Yup! I said boring. Other than camps, and maybe a family vacation (depending on what's going on) there is NOTHING TO DO!!! I usually pass time by writing in my journal, drawing, or writing some songs. That takes up all of two or three hours! The first couple of weeks of summer I'm all, " YEAH! Summer!" then as the rest of it rolls around, I'm just like," UGHHHHH!!!! SOMETHING TO DO!!!" So i'll clean my room, rearrange it, take some pictures of random things, and play with the dog. Still boring. (I cleaned my room for three weeks straight... Yeah three weeks)
I am so grateful for school. Those precious seven hours. I love that I can lose everything boring in the summer and head back to school and hang out with friends and have fun. You probably think I sound like a geek but I love school. Well for at least half the year. See thats when the teachers start cracking down and load you down with work. I enjoy learning things that other people don't know but when its text book stuff, you lose interest. I loved my seventh grade year. I had the best teachers and made tons of memories. One of my favorites was in science. We had a project due but my group was just messing around and not doing what we were supposed to do. We decided to look up our names on "code name generator". We clicked on a link and entered in our names. Mine was Lacresha Winkler. Darby's was something Marwadi, Caleb's was Julio something, and my teachers was Akiko. You may think that is a stupid memory but its just fun to think about. For the rest of the year we called her Akiko. Sadly she moved this year and I probably won't see her again. Another great memory is how my history teacher let us spend the last two weeks of school playing Apples to Apples and then made us spend at least 15 minutes on the final. Yeah, it was that easy. A lot of my favorite memories were made at school.
I do have my fare share of summer memories too. I am so thankful to live in a free country where I'm free to worship God. Super Summer was more than it sounds. It wasn't "super" at all. It was AWESOME! I had an amazing time worshiping God and making lifelong friends too. For those of you who don't know how the grades are separated, they call them schools and its by color. I had a friend in khaki, graduated seniors, and i decided to send her some e-grams. An e-gram is a little note you can send to people around the camp. The first day I wrote her five e-grams. They didn't have anything "special" on them in fact I think they had one word on each of them. The next day it was raining REALLY hard so before I left the cafeteria I grabbed a stack of e-grams. We got locked in the dorms and I decided to fill out the e-grams. All fourteen of them, to one person. By the end of the week my friend had accumulated twenty-two e-grams from me. I'll save this story for another time but here's something to "make you want more." Darby+ slick tile= some how under the table.
I guess school and summer tie. Yes half of summer is boring and yes half of the school year is boring but the memories you make from both are something amazing.
Oh yeah! I lost the game. :)

Hi Guys!
Hi guys! Thanks for visiting my blog! I'm new at this so you're going to have to bear with me as I try to figure this out. I created this to archive my thoughts. I LOVE to write and thought this would be a good way to express my thoughts. Usually when I write, I write a lot. Hope you're up to reading a lot! The number one person in my life is God. He has blessed me with amazing parents, great siblings and terrific friends. I don't really know what else to put. Ha ha. So I'm ending this post. Thanks again!
