does any one else feel like its NOT Monday?

This week I have been totally thrown off my calender. I woke up this morning and could have sworn it was Wednesday. We have had so many teachers absent this week that I can hardly tell I'm in the same school by then time seventh period rolls around. PLUS our schedule has been totally wacked up with random assemblies! I am SOOOOO confused! Usually by Tuesday I am LONGING for the weekend. I am tired, overly excited about EVERYTHING and not to mention a bit grouch too. But for some reason I don't feel that way yet. Maybe because my internal calender is off a day.... I don't quite know but OH well! :) Heres a picture I took one of theses days of the week...

This weeks theme is shoes. I couldn't really find a good picture so I chose this one.

Oil, Water, food coloring

I saw this on my friend Allies blog. Its just food coloring, water, and cooking oil.

I accidentally put too much green coloring in this one.

This post is a just because post. I am going to post my top ten pictures that I have taken. ( this should be fun for me) I hate picking favorites so this will be a hard for me. :)

 This one has always been one of my favorites. I absolutely LOVE sunsets.

 I'm not entirely sure why I like this one so much.

 I love the simplicity of this one. And I like those shoes... :)

 Again, I LOVE sunsets. I actually got up from the dinner table in the middle of eating to take this.

 This one reminds me of the spring or summer even though it was taken this winter.

 I like this one because I cropped a different picture and it made this picture.

 I LOVE my editing in this one. My eyes are only this color after I cry. The whites of my eyes get really red and the blue just pops! I was so happy when picnik had an effect that made my eye this color

 I took this last night. Its the only serious one she would take.... :)

 I took this along time ago when I was going to a play with one of my friends. I love sunsets, again. :)

I like the clouds behind the tree in this one. 

Keep Her in Your Prayers Please

Hi guys,

Today, I found out that one of my teachers has a detached retina. She left early yesterday during my class to go to the eye doctor. When we walked into class we saw a paragraph on the board that said that the doctor said she had a "retinal detachment". After research I found out that a retinal detachment is when the retina, the light sensitive membrane in the back of your eye, literally falls off. If the problem remains untreated, she could have suffered blindness in her eye. I sound like a doctor right now! :) Thankfully there is a solution to this problem. My teacher went to have surgery. I'm not sure what kind of surgery she had because there are many different treatments depending on the severity of the detachment. She will be out for a couple of weeks but at least she wont go blind! Please keep her in your prayers. Thanks a lot guys!

Portrait and a tiny favor! :)

So today I got bored after finishing tonight's homework and I decided to get a picture or two of me. They are both side shots but I like them both! Here they are! 

                                      

I know that the first is a little fuzzy but my camera hates me some times! So now on to the favor I would like to ask all of you who are reading this. I only have two followers on my pictures for a year blog and am beginning to get depressed over it. Not really! Ha ha! :) But I would like more followers. I would like to see what people think of my pictures. Yes, I know right now, I'm not the greatest photographer, but over time that will change. :) SO, could some of you guys post on your blog about my pictures for a year blog? I would REALLY appreciate it. Thanks a lot guys!

Good afternoon,

Today is Monday and that means that its time for Happy Monday! This weeks theme is Happy New Year. Since I went over to my friends house and we went on a walk, I am going to submit a picture of the dog/horse that accompanied us on our little walk.

Now, here are some other things that I did on New Year's Eve

and thats pretty much it... Yeah, I know I had a boring couple of days but I had just gotten back from a camp  and I really just wanted to SLEEP! Haha!

Hello, I now have another blog! And a new design.

Hey guys,

I posting at approximately 10:00 p.m. to let all of you guys know that I am starting another blog. It's jessica365blog.blogspot.com. I will start today and end on January 1, 2012. I am hoping that I can grow and learn as a photographer.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALLIE!

So, as I said in the post before, today is one of my best friends, Allie, birthday. This whole Post is dedicated to her! I am going to put up some pictures I took of her Over the last few months.

Allie is off to the side holding the child. I actually took this over the summer when we went to a bible museum.

These are her shoes

 So every time she didn't want me to take a picture of her, she would either stick her camera in front of her face or she would act as goofy as possible. Thats theses two pictures.

 She didn't know that I was taking this picture. She was trying to get a cool picture of the fence and so I snapped this shot.

And this was in our little mini- session. I finally got her to let me take pictures of her. Yeah, she's that difficult! Just kidding.
